The last activity we did for art this term was tin foil, string and sharpie art. This is a great one for making sure we have a 'Growth Mindset'. Even if we feel we are not good at art YET we could all achieve success with this art.
First we drew a pattern, it could not be too complicated. Then we had to put string on our pattern. This was the messy bit. Once we had done that we covered our pattern with tinfoil and pressed down so we could see the string lines. We then chose 3 colours of Sharpie to colour in with.
This art looks bright and amazing on our classroom wall.
Kia ora! i'm Basty and this thing is so cool is it paint or you paint the stones? because they are like stones. Maybe you could make animals with stones!

Deletekia ora! i'm Ema-leigh i am from gilberthorpe school. I did something similar at my old school. i love you're colors that you have done. i like the way you did it with the string and the plastic. there is another way that is easy. you get every color and just glue it on until you want it to be colorful. then you can put it on the window and it will shine down on the floor and shine what you did bye.
ReplyDeleteHello it is Room 7 students here. Thank you for commenting on our class blog. Okay maybe we will try doing stained class windows next time. Did you like the art?
