When we are doing our portraits we need to look at the face shape. We took selfies on our Chromebooks to look at. We have also talked about where our features fit on our face. We only need to draw the main lines.
After we have finished drawing our portraits we then have to put crepe paper on them and wet it down. The colours in the crepe paper then comes out onto our drawing. It makes some interesting patterns.
We have also been talking about having a Growth Mindset and 'The Power of Yet.' Drawing our portraits can be really difficult but if we keep trying we will get better. We may not be able to do it, 'Yet' but with perseverance we will get there.
