Silhouette Art

This week we have been working on a group art project that used our silhouettes and paint.  We had our photos taken and then printed out.  After that we cut them out and painted the back of them.  We had to use different tint.  Tints are made by adding white to a hue (colour).

We are continuing to develop our skills to work in groups and use strategies to calm down when we are getting frustrated.  Some of the strategies we have looked at are voicing our concerns, getting some exercise, writing down our feelings and counting up and back.

    2. I agree Mrs Cassidy! The pink is so vibrant, I really love it! What a neat way to encourage collaboration and integrate it with art. I bet they look beautiful in your learning space and make it look so vibrant!

How did you decide on your strategies for calming down when you're frustrated? This is such wonderful real life learning.

    3. Hi Mrs Williams. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comment. We also like the pink silhouette art because it stands out a lot. We used lots of strategies. The one we liked best was getting exercise by running around the court.
      With regards
