We are a Year 5 and 6 class at Hornby Primary School. We work digitally 1:1 and our teacher is Miss Scott. We believe we are an awesome class and are willing to work hard to reach our potential.

Brett Fairweather Visit
On Wednesday the 20th of March the creator of 'Jump Jam', Brett Fairweather, came to school. He did three Jump Jam dances with the whole school and answered some questions we had about his life. Here are some pictures of us doing Jump Jam.
Kia ora Room 7, Jump Jam has been around for a long time and Brett Fairweather still looks the same. It looks like everyone had an awesome day and was enjoying themselves. What was everyones favourite song? I think mine is "In the Navy". Did you know Brett was the aerobics champion and his signature move was the one handed pushup. Check out one of his performances -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMy5U9ZkMtE. He is very strong and really bendy and flexible. Nga mihi, Mark
Hi Mr Maddren. Thank you for your nice and lovely comment. Our favourite song was the Minion YMCA song. Have you ever been involved in a 'Jump Jam' session? from Ahyan and Sean
I was involved in 3 Jump Jam sessions a week when I was working in the classroom at South Hornby School. I even helped train our Jump Jam Team which competed in the regional competition. I have never heard the Minion YMCA song I will have to search it out. Does Hornby Primary enter the Jump Jam competitions?
